Lessons Learned: When you do not properly establish the value propositions for your customers vs. your users.

A unique challenge for software product designers is when the person who makes the decision to buy your product is not the primary user of the product. Lacking the proper value propositions for these user profiles can lead to costly mistakes. All of which can be avoided if your properly explore what is valuable to your customer vs your user early on in your process.
